  As soon as I arrived he dropped everything and spent 2 hours diagnosing then fixing the problem. By lunch we were ready to set off again. Price for the work was VERY reasonable anywhere - let along when stuck in the middle of the outback.

  Had an issue with my Hilux whilst travelling and limped back to Alice. Other mechanics wouldn't look at the car for 7 to 10 days! Jim was booked out but promised to take a look and at least diagnose the problem that day so we knew how long we would be stuck there.

  I called them one day before an auction to ask for an inspection. He not only inspected the truck, but also when the next day and bid for us, and won the item at a very reasonable price.
