Had a blast with Mulgas adventures. Our guide Matt "scruffy" was great and he can cook really good. I, Jonathan from "Colombia" ate second and some third plates. Food range from burritos, camel burger, Kangaroo, Pasta, pancakes and my favorite was his homemade bread "camp site bread". We had a good group of 17 people and all help cleaning and getting the wood for the bonfire. The Sunrise and sunset were amazing at Uluru. We did 3 days and 4 nights and think it was enough. Our tour guide Matt was well organized, knowledgeable about his country and precise on time. We learned so much, especially about the PYGMY koala (LOL). Our winter camping experience was great, but temperatures did drop up to -2C (28F). So, cover yourself pretty good with the swag provided by Mulgas adventures and make sure you booked a sleeping bag.

I've been on quite a few tours throughout Australia, and in terms of guide knowledge, excitement, and the general tour, it was the best one I've been on. Our tour guide was amazing, the sights and sunrises that we saw were amazing, and the food that we ate was amazing!

I was surprised how much I enjoyed even the 5 hour ride from Alice Springs to the Uluru. The scenery was so picturesque!

If you are lucky to do the tour with him, you can be sure that you're gonna eat very well, Matty is such a great cooker !

Every day a snack during the hike and fresh fruits as well. I didn't mind to help with food preparation or cleanup after the meals. I think it's quite normal for a low budget tour.

To resume, I'm glad I did this tour with Mulgas, I've met nice people and had one of the greatest guide I named "Matty the crazy bear" xD

Only negative point is that sometimes you feel in a rush, "don't take 20 minutes to do photos...blabla". Yes, we are on a tour, with schedules but... We are also on holidays :)

Sleeping in the swag was more comfortable than I was expecting! In the middle of April nights have been quite chilly and Wochenende did the most hikes in the morning hours so we didn't sweat a lot.

Sleeping under the stars in a swag around a bonfire was one of the best experience I've had since I've been traveling in Australia ! But it was a bit rough at night though... -2°C the last morning outch ! I still think going in the summer would be dreadful as you'll be surrounded by a bunch of anoying flies and the walks are long and exhausing... With 35°C I can't imagine how bad it would be !

Uluru, the Olgas and the Kings Canyon are magical places and definitely a must see. The tour was well organized, the commentary of the guide was very interesting and he was able to answer any question and the food was the amazing too!

Amy, the tour guide was just amazing! She knew everything about her mother land and she was telling us all the stories from her heart that touched my feeling a lot. The tour itself is great also, we didn't miss any bits of the thing we must see and do. Special thanks to Amy once again to prepare a surprise birthday cake for my fiancé! She was absolutely happy to be celebrated by all people on the tour with thousands of stars!! We would like to give 1extra star for Amy to made our journey the unforgettable one!! So Mulgas Adventure got 6 stars in total from us!! The best!!! By R&N from Japan

I had the 3 days tour departing in Alice Springs and I just loved it. The best tour guide (I think his name was "Rydes or Rodes" can't remember the name properly as it was unusual for me) and the best value for money made this to my favorite tour after 10 months of traveling through Australia.

In my opinion the 3rd night/4th day does not worth it as we didn't do anything special. All the visits and walks were done in 3 days. So yes, we were in a "private" campground surrounded by nobody else, but the experience is the same as the nights before. Bonfire, sunrise... Breakfast and back to the airport.
